Aaron has written over two dozen novels, including SWITCHEROO, the latest in his award-winning series of forensic mysteries featuring Gideon Oliver, “the Skeleton Detective.” His books have been referred to as “a delicious blend of forensic science and a to-die-for setting” (Booklist) and among his awards are an Edgar Award for Best Novel, a Nero Wolfe Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award from Malice Domestic. He and his wife Charlotte hold a jointly awarded Agatha. Aaron’s books have been translated into over a dozen languages and turned into a major television series for ABC. In addition to his forensic novels, Aaron is currently writing another series of mysteries in collaboration with Charlotte Elkins, which features art conservator Alix London. When Aaron is not writing, he serves as the forensic anthropologist for the Olympic Peninsula Cold Case Task Force.
