Frances Sherwood

Frances is currently working on her fourth novel. She started writing after she had raised a family while going to college (Howard University, Brooklyn College) and graduate school (Johns Hopkins, Stanford). Frances is a professor of English at Indiana University South Bend. She considers herself a “new historical”—or rather postmodern historical novelist—an author who places contemporary political and psychological issues in different times and exotic places.
