Richard Babcock
Richard Babcock has spent a career moving between journalism and fiction. After serving as a top editor at New York magazine, he was editor-in-chief at Chicago magazine for 20 years before stepping down in 2011. He now teaches and writes. His three novels, all set in the Midwest, are Martha Calhoun, Bow’s Boy, and, most recently Are You Happy Now? He lives in Chicago with his wife, writer Gioia Diliberto.
