Business Affairs Manager

Kristen is the Business Affairs Manager for the Aaron Priest Literary Agency, overseeing many of the financial and operational matters of the company. In addition to processing all incoming and outgoing payments, Kristen manages the foreign tax forms and other accounting paperwork for the agency and its clients. She reviews royalty statements and profit-sharing reports that come in for all authors as well as maintaining and updating the company’s contract database.

A graduate from Princeton University with a degree in history, Kristen began her career in publishing as a Foreign Rights Associate at Farrar, Straus & Giroux. Before coming to the Aaron Priest Agency, she worked in contracts, rights, and royalties positions at other agencies, including the Jane Rotrosen Agency and Sobel Weber Associates.

Kristen most enjoys reading psychological thrillers and crime fiction of all types—clearly, she landed at the right agency.
