Business Affairs Manager

Kristen is the Business Affairs Manager for the Aaron Priest Literary Agency, overseeing many of the financial and operational matters of the company. She works with the agents to analyze authors’ royalties as contracts are negotiated with publishers, thereby helping to ensure that clients get the best deal possible.

A graduate of Princeton University with a degree in history, Kristen began her career in publishing as Foreign Rights Associate at Farrar, Straus & Giroux. She then went on to work in contracts, rights, and royalties positions at literary agencies, including the Jane Rotrosen Agency and Sobel Weber Associates.

Kristen most enjoys reading thrillers, psychological suspense novels, and crime fiction of all types—so she obviously landed at the right agency.
