Philip Caputo

Philip is a former journalist and Pulitzer Prize-winner who has written eight novels including Acts of Faith, The Voyage, Indian Country, Horn of Africa, and Crossers. His latest novel is Some Rise by Sin. He has also written several works of non-fiction. The Longest Road is his latest non-fiction work, which documents his journey crossing the U.S. from its southernmost point to its northernmost. His memoir, A Rumor of War, is considered an iconic depiction of a soldier’s experience in Vietnam. It is one of the most highly praised books of the 20th century. He divides his time between Connecticut and Arizona.
