Charlotte and Aaron Elkins

Husband and wife team Charlotte and Aaron Elkins have been collaborating on novels since 1989 when they found success with A Wicked Slice, their first novel featuring golfer Lee Ofsted, which Publishers Weekly called “an engagingly humorous thriller.” The first novel in Charlotte and Aaron’s newest series, A Dangerous Talent, features art consultant and FBI Art Crime Team advisor Alix London. When it was released by Thomas & Mercer, it hit #1 on the Kindle bestseller lists not only in the U.S., but in the U.K. and Germany as well. The Trouble with Mirrors, the fourth book in their Alix London series, was published by Thomas & Mercer in October, 2016. Between them, Charlotte and Aaron have written 30 mysteries since 1982, garnering such awards as the Agatha Award for best short story of the year, the Edgar Award for the year’s best mystery, and the Nero Wolfe Award for Literary Excellence.

Charlotte was born in Houston, Texas, and Aaron in New York City. They live on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula.
