Gregg Hurwitz
Gregg Hurwitz is the critically acclaimed, bestselling author of eight novels of crime fiction. His most recent, THE CRIME WRITER, is a national and international bestseller and was a finalist for the 2008 Best Novel award from the International Thriller Writers association and for the British Crime Writers Association's Ian Fleming Steel Dagger Award for Best Novel. (Published in the UK under the title I SEE YOU.) It was also cited by Library Journal as one of the Top 5 Best Thrillers of 2007, and Kirkus, in a starred review, called it "a performance worthy of applause." His new novel, TRUST NO ONE, will be published by St. Martin's Press in 2009. His work has been translated into thirteen languages. He has written screenplays for Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Paramount Studios, MGM, and ESPN, developed TV series for Warner Studios, and reinvented a comic character for Marvel. He has taught fiction writing in the USC English Department, and guest lectured for UCLA, and for Harvard in the United States and Europe. In the course of researching his thrillers, he has sneaked onto demolition ranges with Navy SEALs, swam with sharks in the Galapagos, and gone undercover into mind-control cults.
